Job Summary

The role is responsible for managing customer interactions, coordinating administrative and documentation activities, and supporting field sales efforts to drive business growth in a Container Freight Station environment. The position acts as a key link between customers, operations, sales, customs, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth cargo handling, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Junior Customer Service Executive

  • Handle customer inquiries related to container movement, cargo status, documentation, and billing
  • Coordinate with CFS operations for gate-in/gate-out, stuffing, destuffing, and delivery
  • Communicate with CHA, shipping lines, and transporters for service coordination
  • Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain customer records and follow up on service requests

Junior Administration Executive

  • Prepare and verify CFS documentation including gate passes, delivery orders, invoices, and cargo reports
  • Support customs-related documentation and compliance activities
  • Maintain data entries in ERP / CFS management systems
  • Assist in billing, invoicing, and payment coordination
  • Maintain records, MIS reports, and operational data

Junior Field Sales Executive

  • Visit potential and existing customers such as importers, exporters, CHA, and freight forwarders
  • Promote CFS services and explain operational capabilities
  • Support senior sales team in client onboarding and rate discussions
  • Collect market and competitor information
  • Follow up with customers to increase cargo volumes and service usage

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of CFS operations, EXIM procedures, and customs documentation
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Basic sales and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CFS / ERP systems

Ability to multitask and work under operational deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, or related field
  • 1–5 years of experience in CFS, ICD, freight forwarding, or shipping industry
  • Freshers with relevant logistics education may be considered
