Sr. Manager Accounts

Role & responsibilities

To lead end-to-end finance and accounts operations for bonded warehouse and logistics businesses, ensuring compliance with GST, Customs Act, and statutory requirements while strengthening financial controls and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Control

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate books of accounts and timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Monitor cost controls, profitability, and variance analysis.

GST, Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST laws, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, RCM, and audits.
• Oversee TDS/TCS, income tax assessments, and statutory filings.
• Ensure adherence to Customs Act, 1962, CBIC bonded warehouse regulations, and audit requirements.

Accounts Receivable & Revenue Assurance

• Supervise billing, collections, credit control, and AR aging.
• Prevent revenue leakages through contract, rate card, and billing reviews.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate linkage between services and invoicing.

Audit & Risk Management

• Lead internal and external audits including statutory, GST, and customs audits.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOPs.
• Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.

Systems & Team Leadership

• Oversee ERP/WMS/TMS financial integration and system controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounts teams.
• Coordinate with operations, compliance, CHA, and senior management.

 Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)or Any B.COM or M.COM Graduate
• Experience in logistics, CFS, ICD, or bonded warehouse environment
